HSJ S.A. has its own research laboratory for the purpose of carrying out research and development of products.
The laboratory performs:
––Chemical composition of steels, ferroalloys
––Mechanical properties Rm, Rp0,2 A5, Z,(Rp0,2 at tamperatures up tp 800ºC)
––Impact of temperature to—60ºC in ”U” and ”V” notched samples
––hardness (Rockwell, Brinnel, Vickers)
––hardenability
––non-metallic intrusions (e.g. according to ASTM E 45, DIN 50602)
––grain size (e.g. according to ASTM E112, DIN 50601)
––surface decarburization of products
––macroscopic
The laboratory is approved by the Office of Technical Inspection (OTI) and also by OTI subcontractors in the performance of laboratory tests No. LB - 032/22. The laboratory meets the criteria of the technical requirements set out in p.5 PNEN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
